ZAHRA 🌹 MIZANE BAND - زهرة 🌹 فرقة ميزان ZAHRA is one of the original songs played at the "Jazz in Morocco" event that is produced by Pulsify Records, a company located in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Our first edition was held in Casablanca, between the 9th and 19th of September 2021. It is one of a series of Latin Jazz sessions that will be filmed annually. One of our main goals is to film and broadcast an hour-long documentary that shows the lifestyle of the Moroccan musician while working with his newly formed band called Mizane. "Mizane" will tell the story of a 10-day trip, including rehearsals and daily residency activities from photo shoots, interviews, and a live musical performance to close the event. 11 well-known young Moroccan artists, players of various musical instruments and singers, who all known by their competence, experience and encyclopedic musical culture, participated in this project. The theme of this year's edition is Jazz in Latin America and its similarities with Moroccan music as well as the Maghreb culture. These artists had the opportunity to take up 4 original compositions, written in the local dialect called "Darija", one of the many forms of Arabic spoken in North African countries. Also, 3 famous Latin American songs were arranged, played and sung with Moroccan musical flavors. Our goals are simple and precise: Shedding light on Moroccan music, including its diversity and richness, as well as highlighting local artistic talents at the international level. Developing the style of writing in "Darija" in different of music genres and highlighting its aesthetics along with other languages ​​such as English, Spanish and French. Representing the local culture, Moroccan identity, cultural and historical diversity through music, decoration, clothing, etc., these are the event's main components to represent the local artistic product. الجاز في المغرب هو حدث مدعوم من "بولسفاي ريكوردز"، وهي شركة تقع في مدينة أتلانتا، بولاية جورجيا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. عقدت نسختنا الأولى بمدينة الدار البيضاء، في الفترة ما بين 9 و19 من شهر سبتمبر 2021. وهي واحدة من سلسلة جلسات موسيقى الجاز اللاتيني التي سيتم تصويرها سنويا. أحد أهدافنا الرئيسية هو تصوير وبث فيلم وثائقي مدته ساعة يعرض نمط حياة الموسيقي المغربي أثناء العمل مع فرقته التي تم تشكيلها حديثا و التي تدعى ميزان. سيسرد فيلم "ميزان" قصة رحلة لمدة 10 أيام، بما فيها من بروفات وأنشطة الإقامة الفنية اليومية من التقاط الصور والمقابلات و عرض موسيقي حي لاختتام الحدث. يشارك في هذا المشروع 11 فنانا مغربيا شابا معروفا من عازفين على مختلف الآلات الموسيقية ومغنيين يشهد لهم جميعا بالكفاءة والتجربة والثقافة الموسيقية الموسوعية. موضوع نسخة هذا العام هو موسيقى الجاز في أمريكا اللاتينية و أوجه التشابه مع الموسيقى المغربية وكذلك الثقافة المغاربية. أتيحت لهؤلاء الفنانين الفرصة لتناول 4 قطع ملحنة، ومكتوبة باللهجة الدارجة المحلية، وهي واحدة من العديد من أشكال اللغة العربية المنطوقة بها في بلدان شمال أفريقيا. تم كذلك، توزيع، عزف وغناء 3 قطع مشهورة بأمريكا اللاتينية تم تناولها بنكهات موسيقية مغربية. أهدافنا بسيطة ودقيقة: تسليط الضوء على الموسيقى المغربية بما فيها من تنوع و غنى و كذا إبراز المواهب الفنية المحلية على الصعيد الدولي. تطوير أسلوب الكتابة بالدارجة في أنواع الموسيقى المختلفة و إبراز جمالياته إلى جانب اللغات الأخرى مثل الإنجليزية والإسبانية والفرنسية. تمثيل الثقافة المحلية والهوية المغربية والتنوع الثقافي والتاريخي من خلال الموسيقى و الديكور و الملابس وما إلى ذلك من مكونات هذا الحدث كمنتج فني محلي.
